Stevia

Nature’s sweet gift

Why is Stevia often called the “ Honey Leaf”?

When Stevia is extracted and purified, it becomes Steviol Glycosides. There are six major components : Stevioside, Rebaudioside A,B & C  Dulcoside A and Steviobioside. Stevioside and Rebaudioside A are the dominant sweetening elements in Stevia with up to 200-400 times the sweetness of sugar. The best thing about it? It has zero glycemic index, meaning it has no contribution to blood sugar level when consumed. In fact, Stevia passes through the body in it’s original form, making it a natural , safe alternative to sugar.
